Software Engineer

At The ReWork Group, we partner with high-growth startups and forward-thinking companies to build the future. We are seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join our team on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this full-stack builder's role, you will own the whole path from idea to production across the entire stack, from frontend components to backend schemas, shipping code that reaches users in days. Working shoulder to shoulder with senior engineers, you will write clean, maintainable code to wire real AI capabilities into user-facing products. Your responsibilities include technical design implementation, participating in rigorous code reviews, debugging and optimizing systems for peak performance, and collaborating cross-functionally with product managers and designers to land features on schedule. You will maintain end-to-end ownership of projects from the first commit through deployment and monitoring. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience, strong proficiency in developing and integrating frontend web applications with modern frameworks, and a solid understanding of APIs, databases, and web fundamentals. Experience working within a fast-moving startup environment, along with exposure to AI tools, LLMs, or cloud deployment across AWS, GCP, or Azure, is highly preferred.
