Software Engineer III, Apple

Crunchyroll, the world's leading platform delivering the art and culture of anime to over 100 million fans, is seeking a Software Engineer III, Apple to join our Apple UI platform team in San Francisco, CA. Operating in a full-time, hybrid capacity, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager, Apple UI, and work out of our SF office three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and project managers to design, build, and implement new features across Crunchyroll's iOS and Apple TV applications. You will coordinate closely with your engineering manager on technical designs, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure team tasks are completed promptly. A strong emphasis will be placed on maintaining a quality-first mindset through rigorous code reviews and creating a comprehensive testing pyramid using XCTest or Quick/Nimble. You will leverage your deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI to optimize performance for memory-limited devices in a multi-threaded, asynchronous programming environment. Additionally, you will partner with various engineering groups to build scalable solutions shared across all client platforms, leveling up the skills of your fellow teammates along the way. Crunchyroll offers a highly competitive salary range of $169,000 to $195,000, along with an annual performance bonus, comprehensive health insurance, an HSA program, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and flexible time off policies.
