Software Engineer, Full Stack

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. We are actively seeking a Software Engineer, Full Stack to join us in New York, NY in a hybrid capacity. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to build both the products and the platforms that empower millions of users from startups to Fortune 500 companies to create and collaborate in real time. You will design, build, and ship high-quality features across the stack, taking ownership of projects end-to-end including ideation, technical design, implementation, testing, launch, and iteration. You will take on complex technical challenges, building intuitive user experiences and optimizing performance in real-time collaborative systems using modern front-end frameworks like React and TypeScript, as well as robust back-end technologies such as Ruby, Python, Go, C++, and PostgreSQL. Our engineers are highly cross-functional, partnering closely with Product, Design, Research, and Data teams to shape product direction and strategy while ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. Ideal candidates will bring proven experience in shipping full-stack applications in production and possess a strong product mindset. We offer a highly competitive compensation package ranging from $153,000 to $376,000 annually, complemented by equity, comprehensive health benefits, retirement contributions, and generous paid time off.
