Software Engineer - Backend

Artemis is building the open data platform for digital finance, organizing and standardizing the metrics that matter for blockchains, tokens, and stablecoins. We are seeking a full-time Backend Software Engineer to join our team in New York, NY on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will have a defining impact building high-performance, robust, and scalable APIs that act as the backbone for multiple Artemis products used by liquid token funds and large hedge funds. You will help us grow and scale from 50k to over 200k MAUs, developing 0 to 1 products and pushing the limits of crypto data systems through initiatives like onchain AI data analysts. Additionally, you will work to bridge our terminal products to onchain native primitives and integrate with leading protocol platforms. Operating with a high degree of customer obsession, you will interact directly with institutional clients to collect feedback and inform product strategy. The ideal candidate is a passionate backend developer who thrives in fast-paced, high-context startup environments and values reliability and impact. While prior experience with onchain data or crypto development is a plus, it is not required. Our core backend stack consists of FastAPI Python, DuckDB, and PostgreSQL.
