Software Engineer (Android)

Hilton Software is actively seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer (Android) to join our mobile engineering team in our Coral Springs, Florida office. This is a full-time, in-person position operating within a one hundred percent on-site work environment. We are looking for local candidates from the Miami, Broward, or Palm Beach areas. As an entry-level role, it is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or developers with one to two years of experience. In this position, you will contribute directly to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of robust Android applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code, identifying bugs, and participating in code reviews. To be successful, candidates must have strong knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK, alongside a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Git version control. Experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desired. Because we are a prime contractor with the U.S. Department of Defense, all candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
