Senior Mobile Engineer

SpruceID is building privacy-preserving, standards-based digital identity and credentialing solutions that empower individuals to control their information while enabling governments and enterprises to deliver secure, interoperable services. We are seeking a full-time Senior Mobile Engineer to join our fully remote team based in the United States. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of engineering, customer delivery, and digital identity, working directly with state governments and public-sector partners to design, build, and deploy mobile-first identity solutions. You will lead the design and development of applications across native platforms (iOS and Android) and cross-platform environments such as Flutter and React Native. Your responsibilities include translating complex customer and policy requirements into secure, production-ready system designs and integrating mobile applications with backend identity services, cryptographic libraries, and platform APIs. You will also contribute to shared Rust libraries and act as a trusted technical advisor guiding partners through mobile security concepts like secure storage, key management, and authentication flows. We require 5+ years of experience shipping production mobile applications, a strong background in at least one mobile framework, and the ability to operate across multiple environments.
