Senior Application Development Engineer

HSA Bank, a division of Webster Bank, N.A., is seeking a Senior Application Development Engineer to join our team in a remote, full-time capacity. In this senior-level role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, high-quality web and mobile experiences for our SecureSave Emergency Savings product. This position blends technical leadership with deep engineering expertise across modern web frameworks and native mobile platforms. You will define and own the front-end and mobile architecture, leading development using Vue.js for web applications and React Native for cross-platform mobile solutions, while leveraging native iOS and Android expertise where required. Responsibilities include owning and managing the mobile CI/CD and deployment pipelines, partnering closely with backend engineers, QA, security, product, and compliance teams, and ensuring reliable build automation. You will design and implement secure front-end and mobile application patterns aligned with FinTech standards, requiring solid knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns like OAuth and OpenID Connect. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, a strong background working within Agile environments, and the ability to drive consistency in UI/UX patterns across all digital platforms.
